First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested three different nerve stimulation techniques—two targeting the brain and one targeting the spine—to see which best reduces pain in people with algoneurodystrophy, a chronic pain condition. Thirty-six adults who had pain for over a year and did not respond to standard treatments took part. The goal was to find a non-drug way to ease their symptoms and improve quality of life.
