First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether a vaginal injection of ketorolac (an anti-inflammatory) plus lidocaine (a numbing agent) can reduce pain when placing osmotic dilators for second-trimester abortion. About 76 adults will receive either the combined injection or standard care. The goal is to improve pain control and reduce the need for opioid painkillers.
