First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks (ESP and TAP) to see which one provides better pain relief after open appendix surgery. About 68 adults having this surgery will receive one of the two blocks, and researchers will measure how much morphine they need and how well they recover. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage pain and reduce opioid use.
