First seen Feb 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests a newer nerve block (EOIB) against a standard one (ESPB) for pain after laparoscopic stomach removal. About 184 adults having this surgery will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. The goal is to see if the newer block provides similar pain relief and reduces the need for strong painkillers.
