First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at how well two different pain medicines—acetaminophen (Tylenol) and hydromorphone (Dilaudid)—work for sudden chest pain. About 30 adults with severe chest pain will receive one of these drugs through an IV, and their pain levels will be checked over an hour. The goal is to see which medicine provides faster and better pain relief, helping doctors choose the best option for each patient.
