New study tests better pain relief for C-Section moms

NCT ID NCT07170267

Summary

This study compares two different approaches to managing pain after cesarean section surgery. Researchers will test whether a targeted nerve block injection or a medication added to spinal anesthesia provides better and longer-lasting pain relief. The trial involves 50 women undergoing planned C-sections to see which method reduces pain scores and the need for additional pain medication like morphine.
