NCT ID NCT07396688
First seen Feb 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at which dental medication works better to reduce pain after a root canal retreatment. Sixty adults needing retreatment on a single-root tooth will get either a standard calcium hydroxide paste or a newer bioceramic paste called Bio-C Temp placed inside the tooth between visits. Participants will rate their pain on a scale and report how many painkillers they take. The goal is to help dentists choose the best option for patient comfort.
