First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks—sacral erector spinae plane block and penile block—to see which one works better for pain relief in children aged 1 to 12 years undergoing circumcision. Sixty children will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. Pain levels will be measured for 24 hours after surgery. The goal is to find the most effective way to reduce pain after this common procedure.
