Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks for pain relief in children aged 1-6 years undergoing surgery for hypospadias, a common birth defect of the penis. One method is the standard caudal block, and the other is a newer sacral erector spinae plane block, both given with the medicine dexmedetomidine. The goal is to see which block provides longer pain relief after surgery. The results could help improve comfort and recovery for young patients.
