New injection could ease pain of common heart surgery

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific nerve block injection can better control pain for people getting a pacemaker or similar heart device implanted. 60 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either the real nerve block or a placebo injection. Researchers will measure pain levels during and after the procedure to see if the injection helps.
