Zap the cramp? device and coaching tested to help people walk through leg pain

NCT ID NCT03204825

Summary

This study tested whether a small, wearable pain relief device (TENS) and an education program could help people with leg pain from poor circulation (intermittent claudication) become more physically active. Researchers wanted to see if it was practical to run a larger future trial. They enrolled 95 adults with stable leg pain to test the device and education, both separately and together, to see if they improved walking distance and daily activity.
