NCT ID NCT07482449
First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at 72 adults having chest surgery to compare two ways of controlling pain: a nerve block (ESPB) and an epidural. Patients were split into three groups: one got the nerve block, one got an epidural, and one got standard pain medicine. Researchers measured pain levels, how much extra pain medicine was needed, and how quickly patients recovered. The goal was to find which method works best for reducing pain and helping patients heal faster.
