New combo may ease shoulder surgery pain

Summary
This study looks at whether adding dexamethasone or dexmedetomidine to the usual numbing medicine (bupivacaine) can improve pain relief after shoulder arthroscopy. About 100 adults having elective shoulder surgery will be enrolled. The goal is to reduce pain and help recovery.
