New nerve block tested to ease pain after prostate surgery
NCT ID NCT06975735
Summary
This study compared two types of nerve block injections given during robotic prostate surgery to see which one better controls pain afterward. Researchers followed 108 men to measure their pain levels, need for extra pain medication, and how quickly they could get up and walk. The goal was to find the most effective method for reducing discomfort and speeding up recovery after this common surgery.
