NCT ID NCT07306702

Summary

This study tested whether adding a sedative drug (dexmedetomidine) to a standard painkiller pump improves pain control after lung surgery. It involved 102 male smokers who had part of a lung removed. Researchers compared three different pain pump formulas to see which one best reduced pain during movement and recovery.
