Summary
This study looked at using non-opioid pain medicines to manage pain after elective lower back surgery. The goal was to reduce pain and avoid opioid side effects like nausea and breathing problems. 75 adults having lumbar disc surgery took part. Researchers measured how many patients had at least half their pain go away after surgery.
