Summary
This study looked at 209 adults having midline abdominal surgery. They received an ultrasound-guided nerve block with either a standard local anesthetic (ropivacaine) or the same drug plus dexmedetomidine. The goal was to see if the combination provided longer pain relief after surgery. The study is already completed.
