Summary
This study looked at two methods to control pain after hip surgery in children. One method uses a combination of nerve blocks near the hip, while the other uses a caudal block near the tailbone. The goal was to see which approach delays the need for extra pain medicine. The study involved 68 children and found that the combined nerve block may be effective in reducing post-operative pain.
