New study tests better pain relief after common Women's surgery
NCT ID NCT07232108
Summary
This study compares two different approaches to managing pain after laparoscopic hysterectomy surgery. Researchers want to see which method provides better recovery quality and reduces the need for opioid painkillers. The trial will involve 64 women undergoing this common gynecological procedure. Participants will receive either a spinal injection of morphine before surgery or local numbing medication applied at the surgical sites.
