New nerve block aims to ease pain after hernia repair

NCT ID NCT07264699

Summary

This study is testing whether a targeted nerve block, given during surgery, can reduce pain and help people recover faster after a common type of hernia repair. It will involve 100 adults having a specific, minimally invasive hernia operation. Half will receive the nerve block, and half will not, to compare their pain levels and recovery times.
