Summary

This study aims to find the best way to manage pain after open groin hernia surgery. Researchers will compare a targeted nerve block performed with ultrasound to the standard method of numbing medicine placed in the surgical wound. The goal is to see which method better reduces pain scores and the need for strong opioid painkillers in the first day after surgery.
