First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests two different ointments—lignocaine and glyceryl trinitrate (GTN)—to see which one works better for pain relief after hemorrhoid surgery. About 64 adults with severe hemorrhoids will be randomly assigned to receive one of the ointments. Researchers will measure pain levels, wound healing time, and patient satisfaction to determine the best option for recovery.
