Summary

This study tested different types of nerve-block injections to manage pain after open-heart surgery. Researchers compared three injection techniques to see which one best reduced pain, especially from surgical drain sites, and lowered the need for strong opioid painkillers. The trial involved 180 adults who had elective heart surgery.
