New study tests which nerve block works best for surgery pain

NCT ID NCT07465887

Summary

This study aims to find which of two nerve-numbing techniques provides better pain relief after minimally invasive chest surgery. Researchers will randomly assign 60 adults having chest surgery to receive either the Rhomboid-Intercostal Block or the Thoracic Paravertebral Block. They'll compare pain levels and medication needs over 24 hours to determine which method works better with fewer side effects.
