New nerve block tested to ease pain and speed recovery after C-Section

NCT ID NCT07145619

Summary

This study is looking at whether adding a specific type of numbing injection (called a TAP block) to the standard pain medication given during a planned C-section helps women recover better. It will involve 150 women who are having a planned C-section. Researchers will compare recovery, pain levels, and medication use between those who get the extra injection and those who don't.
