New study tests ways to make C-Section pain relief last longer

NCT ID NCT06513013

Summary

This study aimed to find a better way to manage pain after a cesarean section. Researchers compared adding either magnesium sulphate or neostigmine to a standard numbing injection (TAP block) given after delivery. They measured how long pain relief lasted, how much extra pain medication was needed, and patient satisfaction over 24 hours.
