C-Section pain relief showdown: spinal shot vs belly block

NCT ID NCT07377630

Summary

This study compares two methods for managing pain after a planned C-section. It will test whether adding a small dose of morphine to the spinal anesthesia works better than a numbing injection in the abdominal wall. Researchers will enroll 100 women having planned C-sections to see which method provides better pain control with fewer side effects over 24 hours after surgery.
