Summary
This study tested three different non-drug approaches to help women manage persistent pain that continues after breast cancer surgery. Researchers compared skills training, guided education, and self-guided education programs to see which best reduces pain and improves quality of life. The trial involved 316 women who had completed breast surgery at least three months earlier and were still experiencing significant pain.
