Study tests two Pain-Blocking methods for major cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT06324253
Summary
This small study compared two different methods for managing pain after major bladder cancer surgery. Researchers tested whether a newer ultrasound-guided nerve block works as well as the traditional epidural for pain relief. The trial involved 20 patients undergoing bladder removal surgery to see which technique provided longer-lasting pain control with fewer side effects.
