New study aims to find best pain block for back surgery patients

Summary

This study looks at two different types of nerve blocks to see which one works better for pain after lower back surgery. About 80 adults having elective back surgery will get one of the two blocks. The main goal is to see which block reduces the need for strong painkillers in the first two days after surgery.
