Nerve block may cut painkiller use in young athletes

Summary
This study looks at whether a single-shot nerve block can reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers in children and teens after ACL knee surgery. About 160 kids aged 13 and older will either get the nerve block or not, and report their pain and pill use for a week. The goal is to find a better way to manage post-surgery pain.
