NCT ID NCT06507748

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a device that measures changes in the pupil of the eye can help doctors understand pain and other unusual sensations in people with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1). About 70 people aged 1 year and older with NF1 will have a small electrode placed on a finger or toe to send mild, painless signals while a camera records their pupil response. The goal is to see if this method is practical and acceptable for different age groups, not to treat or cure NF1.
