Summary

This study tests whether taking placebo pills along with standard pain medication can reduce opioid use and pain in 64 teens and young adults (ages 13-40) after hip surgery. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either placebo pills plus usual care or usual care alone. The goal is to see if this approach helps manage pain with fewer opioids.
