NCT ID NCT06894420
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study compares two methods to reduce pain after laparoscopic hernia repair: injecting numbing medicine into the surgical area or using an ultrasound-guided nerve block (TAP block). Sixty adults having hernia surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. Researchers will measure pain levels and how much extra pain medicine is needed to find the best approach for patient comfort.
