First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests a special pain management program for breast cancer survivors who have joint and muscle pain caused by their hormone therapy (aromatase inhibitors). The program uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other techniques to help reduce pain, improve thinking and mood, and make it easier to stick with cancer treatment. About 115 women with early-stage breast cancer will either join the program or receive usual care to see which works better.
