First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested if a pain-relief device called TENS, along with education about the condition and goal setting, could help people with leg pain from narrowed arteries (peripheral arterial disease) walk more and feel better. 95 people took part to see if this approach is practical for a larger future study. The goal was to reduce pain during walking and improve daily activity.
