First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at how healthy adults experience pain and itch from hot and cold sensations. Researchers will also test how expectations (placebo/nocebo) affect these feelings. 30 volunteers aged 18-60 will rate their pain on a scale. No treatment is given—this is purely to understand how the body works.
