Summary
This study aims to understand how the brain processes the sensations of pain and itch. Researchers will enroll 30 healthy volunteers to undergo sensory tests on their face over three days. The study involves applying small amounts of substances that cause mild, temporary itch or pain, then measuring the body's response with questionnaires and skin sensitivity tests.
