First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026

Summary

This study looks at pain in two common ways to biopsy the prostate: through the rectum or through the skin between the scrotum and anus. Researchers will ask 200 men to rate their expected pain before the procedure and their actual pain after. The goal is to help doctors choose the method that causes the least discomfort.
