First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a short lesson about how pain works (called Pain Neuroscience Education) can help memory and body awareness in adults who have had chronic pain for more than a year. Fifty participants will take memory tests and draw where they feel pain before and after a 10-15 minute session. The goal is to see if understanding pain better can also help the brain work better.
