Mind over pain: can education ease Athletes' chronic shoulder pain?
NCT ID NCT07393347
Summary
This study tested whether teaching elite volleyball players about how pain works in the brain and body could help manage their chronic shoulder pain. Forty professional players with shoulder pain lasting at least three months were split into two groups. One group received six weeks of special pain education sessions while continuing their normal training, while the other group just continued training as usual.
