New study: pain lessons plus exercise may ease chronic pain in seniors
NCT ID NCT07287501
First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding short lessons about how pain works to a supervised exercise program can help adults over 65 with chronic pain feel better and move easier. About 100 participants will be split into three groups: exercise only, exercise plus 8 weeks of pain education, or exercise plus 32 weeks of pain education. The goal is to see if the combined approach improves pain, mobility, and quality of life more than exercise alone.
