Nerve block may cut opioid use after nose surgery
NCT ID NCT05667324
First seen May 18, 2026 ยท Last updated May 18, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a nerve block (an injection near a nerve cluster in the face) can reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers after nose surgery. 50 adults having septorhinoplasty (surgery to fix a deviated septum and reshape the nose) took part. The approach aims to make recovery more comfortable and reduce opioid-related side effects.
