New study aims to ease pain after liver cancer surgery

Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks (retrolaminar block vs subcostal TAP block) to control pain after open liver surgery for cancer. The goal is to see which block reduces the need for strong painkillers (opioids) and helps patients recover faster. About 90 adults undergoing liver resection will take part.
