New combo could ease Post-Surgery pain

Summary
This study looked at ways to improve pain control after laparoscopic colorectal surgery. Researchers added either ketamine or a fentanyl skin patch to a standard nerve block (erector spinae plane block). The goal was to see which combination helped patients stay pain-free longer after surgery. 120 adults who were in good health aside from their surgery took part.
