Knee surgery pain study aims to get patients moving faster

Summary

This study looks at two different ways to numb the thigh nerve (adductor canal block) to control pain after total knee replacement. The goal is to see which method helps patients move sooner, use less pain medicine, and leave the hospital earlier. The study will include 78 adults with knee osteoarthritis who are scheduled for knee replacement under spinal anesthesia.
