Better pain relief could mean better breathing after surgery

NCT ID NCT06837909

Summary

This study compares two different ways to control pain after laparoscopic kidney donation surgery. Researchers want to see which method helps patients breathe better by reducing pain that makes people take shallow breaths. Eighty patients will be randomly assigned to receive either an abdominal wall injection before surgery or injections at the incision sites after surgery.
