Summary
This pilot study looked at two different pain management techniques in 40 patients aged 70 and older who had a hip fracture and were waiting for surgery. The goal was to see which method better controlled pain and helped prevent pressure ulcers during the wait. The study focused on pain scores right after washing on the day of surgery.
