Scientists seek perfect dose to numb surgery pain

NCT ID NCT07446959

Summary

This study aims to find the smallest effective dose of a numbing medicine (bupivacaine) for a specific type of pain-relief injection given after minimally invasive lung surgery. Researchers will test different amounts in a small group of patients to find the dose that works for half of them. The goal is to provide good pain control while using the least amount of medication possible.
