New nerve block tested to ease pain after hernia repair
NCT ID NCT07290881
Summary
This study aims to compare two different nerve block techniques used to manage pain after inguinal hernia surgery. Researchers will test a newer method called the anterior iliac block against a commonly used technique to see which provides better and longer-lasting pain relief. The goal is to improve patient comfort and reduce the need for opioid painkillers after the operation.
